As the Session continues its work in "right sizing" Vance Church, adjusting its budget and preparing to search for a new Installed Pastor, the Congregation has approved a motion from the Session to eliminate the position of Associate Pastor.
In preparation for that change in October, Dr. Larry Kline asked that his pastoral call to Vance Church be dissolved so he can take a position in New Church Development with the Upper Ohio Valley Presbytery. The Congregation approved that request on June 6th.

The Pastor Nominating Committee has prepared the Church Information Form (CIF) which is the first public step toward the hiring of a new Pastor--who will now be called as a Solo Pastor.
