Shoe Box Santa Project

The Mission Commission of Vance Memorial Presbyterian Church is giving you the opportunity to help West Virginians in Need by supporting the Appalachian Outreach "Shoe Box Santa Project."

There are collection boxes in the Narthex and near the office where you can drop off shoe boxes, completed boxes or individual items to fill the boxes. Below is a list of useful items for this project:

PRIORITY ITEMS:  Disposable Razors, Denture Cleaner, Shaving Cream, Bar Soap, Shampoo, Toothbrush, Toothpast, Deodorant, Wash Cloth, Purse-size Kleenex, Comb or Hairbrush, Q-Tips, Cotton Balls, Band-aids, Note Pads, Pencils, Pens, Gloves and Hats (one size fits all)

OPTIONAL ITEMS: Hand Lotion, Chap Stick, Vaseline, First Aid Cream, Magnifying Glass, Socks, Knee Highs, Hand Sanitizer, Nail Clippers, Tweezers, Jar Grip, Pot Scratcher, Small Puzzle Book, Greeting and Note Cards, Calendars, Dominos, Checkers, Stamps, Envelopes, Playing Cards

Please bring Shoe Box Santa items to the church by Thursday, November 10th as the Vance Youth Groups are going to wrap the completed boxes.
